Well, we are back from another successful weekend at the Toronto Wine & Cheese Show!
Mushrooms Canada would like to thank everyone who stopped by our booth and enjoyed a sample of Sauteed Fresh Canadian Mushrooms.
If walked around and fully enjoyed the show then you would have quickly realized that not only did Mushrooms Canada have a booth, but we were also cooking up a storm on The Bay Sip & Savour Stage.
Chef Nathan Zak and I cooked up two delicious mushroom recipes for a full crowd; a Baked Mushroom Topped Brie (as pictured below), and a Grilled Mushroom, Tomato and Avocado Feta Salad.
As if this Baked Brie recipes was not a big enough draw, people came from far and wide to see Saturday's Guest Host, David Adjey.
In just 30 minutes Mr. Adjey whipped up a delicious Duck Sandwich on Toasted Garlic Bread, with a Sauteed Green Bean Almondean, and a lovely Brussels Sprout Hash. It looked amazing!
So once again we thank everyone who stopped by, and we hope to see you at the Toronto Wine & Cheese Show next year!
