Anyone who knows where the Mushrooms Canada's head office is would say, "it's out in the middle of nowhere!" This is true. We share a building with several other Agriculture Commodity groups just outside of Guelph, Ontario.
Although it is a quick 10 minute drive to get into Guelph, I don't usually find myself headed into town to grab lunch all that often. In fact, out of the 5 years that I have been here, I think I have only driven into town to grab lunch twice.
Packing a lunch is my thing, and for two reasons:
• it allows me to control the food I am eating (mostly healthy!)
• it's less expensive (who doesn't like to save money?)
Packing a lunch doesn't have to be difficult either. Most lunches can be made up of three components; the entrée, a side dish, and a snack...and what-do-you-know, mushrooms can very easily fit into all those categories!
