This past weekend, Mushrooms Canada set up camp in London, Ontario sampling Simple Sauteed Crimini Mushrooms at the London Wine & Food Show!
The show ran Thursday through Saturday and boy were we busy! We eased our way into the weekend Thursday night, prepping ourselves for London Rogers Daytime TV in the morning.
Brittany wasn't even nervous this year, heading into the studio for her LIVE television segment. Full of confidence, she was excited to share our Blendability message.
Using 50% ground meat and 50% finely chopped mushrooms, Brittany showed Londoners how simple it was to Blend and Extend to create a healthy Blendability meatball.
She even had Ken get his hands dirty with the meatball prep!
Finally, the Blendability meatballs topped a delicious plate of spaghetti, showing how simple it is to incorporate these blended balls into your favourite classic dishes!

Friday night at the show, Mushrooms Canada took over the Cooking Stage to share the same Mushroom Meatball Blendability recipe with the crowds. At the end of the cooking demonstration, everyone in the audience got to try their own sample of the meatball.
We had a great time in London, handing out over 200 pounds worth of mushroom samples! I want to thank Brittany for her hard work all weekend, as well as my sister Heather and mushroom farmers Murray and Chantelle Good for helping out in the booth this weekend.
I especially want to thank everyone who came out this weekend to the show, came by the booth, sampled mushrooms, asked questions and joined us in the audience for our cooking stage demo.
